The restaurant of the Castel Fragburg perches like an eagles nest on the edge of a cliff, overlooking the valley of Merano and aking in the spectacle of the Dolomites. Michelin has awarded a star in December 2009, thereby endorsing accolades from Gault Millau and Veronelli. The cuisine at the Fragsburg combines traditional South Tyrolean cooking with Mediterranean lightness, delivering highest level culinary culture. Head Chef Luis Haller’s authentic creations are aptly supported by a remarkable wine list with 170 bins, mostly from indigenous top growers, with selected Italian and international wines.
